Sandwell Council of Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) is a charitable organisation based in Sandwell which supports Sandwell’s Voluntary and Community Sector, comprised of voluntary-run community groups, charities, not-for-profit businesses, faith communities and social enterprises.
SCVO provides the infrastructure to enable the Sector, it’s communities and its beneficiaries to have a strong voice and play a leading role in ensuring all residents have access to the support they need and have their say in shaping Sandwell’s future. SCVO also delivers development support to ensure that Sandwell has a strong, healthy and resilient Sector where new and established community activities can flourish.

Wolverhampton Voluntary Sector Council exists to support the development and sustainability of an effective voluntary and community sector, promoting the principle and practice of voluntary and community activity, in order to facilitate the development of diverse, strong communities and to enhance quality of life within the City of Wolverhampton.

Inspiring & supporting social action One Walsall is the voice of the voluntary sector in Walsall. The team support local not-for-profit organisations such as community groups, charities and social enterprises.

Black Country Together CIC was founded in 2013 by the four Councils for Voluntary Service in the Black Country with the aim of increasing levels of funding coming into our sub-region and fostering greater co-operation and collaboration between voluntary organisations and local statutory agencies both within and across borough boundaries.

Based in West Bromwich, Multistory invites photographers, artists, writers, film-makers to make art with, for and about local people in response to their lives and experiences. Their work is driven by stories – discovering them, hearing them, shaping them and sharing them.
Multistory produce the stories through exhibitions, books, films, digital stories and celebratory events to take the work to new audiences in Sandwell, in the Black Country and beyond.

Black Country Touring brings some of the best professional touring theatre and dance from the UK and beyond to the local communities of the Black Country (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton). We work with local people in the Black Country to programme this work into places where the local community can get to see it – these might be a school, community centre, the local library or art gallery.

We partner with many other organisations across the Black Country, the UK and overseas to present our projects.
