Please note that this event has been postponed.

Join us in Halesowen to talk about how we can support your projects with our Creative Communities strand. If you are working in creative ways to engage people, have an idea for a project that needs support, want to connect and meet with like-minded creatives then join us for our informal March get together.

Creative Black Country (CBC) work with communities in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton to explore and develop new creative projects with local people in the places where they live.

CBC's Creative Communities strand is about supporting communities to co-create, co-design and co-produce new work that is relevant, authentic and participatory for people living in the Black Country.

We also offer support to help communities to develop skills and confidence in building creative and cultural activities.

Join us for a coffee and chat and tell us what you're excited about and working on in Halesowen or across the Black Country.

We’ll be heading to Cornbow Hall to talk about our work in Dudley and hear more about what you’re up to, what you'd like to see and how we can connect.

As part of the event, artist Ishtiaq Hussain will deliver a short Visual Vernacular performance. Visual Vernacular is a unique physical theatre technique primarily performed by Deaf artists. This powerful storytelling style combines strong movement, iconic BSL signs, with gestures and facial expressions, to capture the world in all its visual complexity.

The event will be located in the Green Room at Cornbow Hall.
