Brilliant events at Windsor Toys this week….


Windsor Toys, a bijou toy emporium filled with beautifully designed toys, is hosting two events this week as part of their Playing Through History project. Not to be missed, these events explore the history of toys and toy making during the Second World War.

Thursday 12 October, 7pm – 8.30pm
Explore the fascinating history of toys during World War II. This talk is the culmination of the ‘Playing Through History’ project. Come along to listen to the stories and memories discovered during the project, visit the pop up ‘War Time Toys’ Museum and see the toys created in response to the project.

1940’s DAY
Saturday 14 October, 10am – 4.30pm
We’ll be hanging out the bunting and stepping back into the 1940’s. Our pop up ‘War Time Toys’ museum will open it’s doors to the public. There will be demonstrations, vintage toys, hand made toys and vintage inspired toys along with plenty of Victoria Sponge. Get your ration books ready!
FREE event. Suitable for all ages.
