About the project

Goscote Greenacres Community Garden brings people together through gardening. The project aims to engage the local community and adults with learning disabilities and their award will help them create a willow tunnel and scarecrows around the garden.

Goscote Greenacres works with local residents and adults with learning disabilities to improve the natural environment, grow food and help break down barriers.

The project plans to work with adults with learning disabilities, young people and local residents to make a willow tunnel and create willow scarecrows on the garden for all to enjoy. The project will improve the garden for all users as well as engage a range of service users including young people, adults with learning disabilities and local residents in positive and inclusive way.
