Creative Black Country will comply with the principles of The General Data Protection Regulations 2018 with regard to any personal data that you may supply.

What information do we collect?
When you use our website, contact us via email, writing, by phone or in person, apply to participate in Creative Communities, Open Access or Landmark projects, or give audience feedback you may provide us with personal information regarding you. This may include:

  • your full name and title, postal address, email address, phone number, age, ethnicity and
    whether you consider yourself to have a disability or life-limiting illness.

We may collect and hold information about the contact you have with us as e.g. a project participant, audience member, freelance artist / company or supporter of Creative Black Country, and may include details of:

  • event attendance
  • performances or workshops
  • contact preferences
  • details of correspondence sent to you, or received from you
  • interests and activities
  • any other information provided by yourself at the request of Creative Black Country

When we ask you to provide personal information we will let you know why we are asking, and how we will use your data, by directing you towards this notice.

How do we use this information?
We use this information to improve the service we give you for the purposes of evaluation, record-keeping and quality control, to provide you with information, or services that you request, or which we feel may interest you, and to notify you about changes to our services. For example:

  • To send you marketing information by electronic communications or post. These can include:

o             Information on events or activities provided by or related to Creative Black Country.
o             News and updates about Creative Black Country and marketing or supporter e-newsletters.
o             Other relevant communications based upon your relationship with Creative Black Country.

How do we protect your personal information?
We understand that your personal information and privacy are important. We make every effort to ensure that the information you share with us is recorded accurately, retained securely and used only according to your wishes. We protect your personal information and adhere to current data protection legislation.

We do not give out, sell or trade our mailing list data with third parties. The information you provide will be used primarily to improve our services to you, for evaluation and monitoring and to keep you informed about the activities of Creative Black Country.

Where you have consented to the use of data you have provided us with, we may share this with relevant partners, e.g. evaluators, funders, for reporting purposes only.

We may also disclose anonymous information regarding demographics and other similar information to third parties for reporting purposes only.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site.

Changes
Please help us to keep your information up to date by emailing us at info@creativeblackcountry.co.uk if your personal information changes, or if you wish to correct or delete it. We will endeavour to correct, update or delete information you have provided to us within 7 working days.
