Finding Our Funny Roots - Film 02

We're trying to find out what makes Black Country humour so unique so have asked poet Dave Pitt of Poets, Prattlers and Pandemonialists to find out on our behalf.

In this film he is finding out WHO are the key players of the Black Country comedy scene from 1950 through to 2000.

Lenny Henry, Frank Skinner, Josie Lawrence, Harry Harrison, Tommy Mundon, The Fizzogs, Meera Syal, Lizzy Wiggins, Dolly Allen and Aynuk and Ayli all make an appearance.

Finding Our Funny Roots is a project Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and produced by Creative Black Country.
