MORE TO EXPLORE: Can Yow Remember?

Can Yow Remember? has officially ended its MORE TO EXPLORE pilot, and what an unforgettable experience it’s been.

Led by Fran and Charis at the lovely Forget Me Not Café in Darlaston, this heartfelt project brought together people living with dementia to share cherished memories through photographs, music, crafts, and mementos.

Over several beautiful sessions, participants embraced self-expression in new ways, capturing moments that words sometimes can't convey. The stories shared were woven into a unique performance piece, performed at the café—an inspiring tribute to lives, memories, and community.

Thank you to everyone who took part and to the café for being a home for creativity and connection. We’re so proud to have helped preserve these precious memories and look forward to more projects that celebrate the heart of our community.
