Walsall Bereavement Support Service recently piloted its ‘Through Loss into Light’ craft sessions with support from Creative Black Country via the Creative Communities strand. The workshops provided a relaxed and welcoming environment where participants could spend time creating, talking and reflecting without pressure or judgement.

Earlier this month, a warm and welcoming space was created in the Black Country as the Beyond One Culture event brought people together for a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture and connection. Supported through our Creative Communities strand, the one day event invited people from across the region to share in live music, performance, art and food, creating an atmosphere that felt open, joyful and deeply human.

Inspiring young people to work in the creative industries with ‘Creative Confidence Sessions’ Stourbridge Jobcentre was selected to become part of CBC’s Creative Communities programme in 2020 as part of the organisation’s new programme in Dudley.
