Making the most of… international partnerships and connections. Launched in 2021, Cultural Bridge is a national programme which aims to forge international partnerships and foster creative collaborations between the UK and Germany.

In the realm of creative collaboration, the fusion of art and activism often leads to compelling narratives that resonate deeply with our shared human experience. The participation in the Cultural Bridge Programme embarked on a transformative journey that saw our emerging Black Country artists initially working in solitude.

Meet our Culture Volunteers who visited Germany last week on an exchange programme that involved seeing art, sharing ideas, and making new connections.

Since developing CBC’s pilot project ENTER as part of Cultural Bridge in 2021, a partnership programme between UK and Germany, CBC have been rediscovering the importance of building European relationships in the Black Country, and how we do this differently.  

The second of our blog posts about the Cultural Bridge project comes from photographer Deborah Stone who also travelled to Lorrach in Germany to take part in the programme.

In the Spring of 2022 Wolverhampton based visual artist and street photographer Komlaish Achall went to Lörrach, Germany to take part in a new research and development programme called The Cultural Bridge.
