In December, for the Winter Solstice on the 21st, Culture Central asked artists and organisations from across the West Midlands to produce and commission pieces of work that could be shared across social media platforms, lasting no more than 60 seconds each.

Turning Points (who we were, who we are, who we will be) is a new creative project. Working with participants across the Black Country regions, Laura Dicken will remotely record personal reflections on subjects such as happiest memories in the Black Country, what we have to be proud of as we collectively navigate the present moment and aspirations for the future.

CoLab Dudley invite you to join them for the 3rd in their Creative Conversations on the Virtual High Street on Tuesday 7th April at 12.30pm. They have invited photographer Laura Dicken and CBC Creative Advisor to talk through her recent project in collaboration with CoLab Dudley.

Laura Dicken is a photographer who works mainly in social documentary, and a Creative Producer. She mostly works with those who do not engage with, or are least likely to be involved with the arts for example, the homeless. She is also an Arts Advisor for Creative Black Country.
