On Sunday 17th September Stourbridge Glass Museum opened it’s doors for a very special tour. Our partners, Deaf Explorer and Deafscope helped promote the event and bring together a fantastic group of visitors, some of who we will be working with to make the museum and it’s volunteering roles accessible to people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Last week we popped along to the first Meet + Make event in Greenfield Gardens, Stourbridge for a new project organised by Ruth Turnbull which has been commissioned by the Dudley Creates team on behalf of CBC.

Inspiring young people to work in the creative industries with ‘Creative Confidence Sessions’ Stourbridge Jobcentre was selected to become part of CBC’s Creative Communities programme in 2020 as part of the organisation’s new programme in Dudley.

Meet & Make invites you to get crafty in Greenfield Gardens, Stourbridge and help create a piece of textile art.

The Positive Postcard Project has been bringing optimism and creativity to residents in Stourbridge and the surrounding areas of the Black Country. Supported by Creative Black Country this project is run by Artist Ruth Turnbull working with Holly Grove Art Club to create and send postcards with a positive message.
