VISUAL VERNACULAR VIDEOS by Ishtiaq Hussain and Zebra Uno Productions

Visual Vernacular (VV) Artist Ishtiaq Hussain captures two themes; ‘Medal’, ‘Sport’ and ‘Queen’ through a powerful visual manner using his entire body, iconic gestures and facial expressions.

Zebra Uno Productions were commissioned by Creative Black Country with Zebra Access in collaboration with the Birmingham 2022 Festival - the biggest celebration of creativity ever in the region and one of the largest ever Commonwealth Games cultural programmes - to produce these films that were showcased at the games’ Live Sites.

There will be a workshop at the Ruskin Glass Centre on the 13th August. 10am - 4pm.
