Creative Black Country’s 100 Masters project has been shortlisted for a ‘Digital & Film Award’ by the New National Creative Learning Awards.

With our 100 Masters continually offering us inspiration here at CBC we have put together a little journal to help get your creative juices flowing in 2019.

The CBC team are thrilled, once again, to have been shortlisted for another award for our 100 Masters project.

Our 100 Masters project has won a European Youth Award for ‘Smart Learning’.

From 25 May to 2 September 2018 a new major solo exhibition of the figurative portrait painter Andrew Tift will be showing at New Art Gallery Walsall.

Back in November we hosted the Festival of Masters – a day-long event that showcased our 100 Masters through exhibitions, installations, talks, workshops and performances.

CBC’s Creative Producer, Liam Smyth, has been selected for a residency with the British Council in Indonesia as part of the three-year UK/Indonesia season which aims to build new relationships and collaboration between the two countries. Liam will be working with his host organisation, Grobak Hysteria, for four weeks; learning about the region and working in collaboration to develop community art projects.

To make some of the 100 Masters come to life lead artists Juneau Projects will be bringing their illustration and tech skills to the project.

Creative Black Country have teamed up with independent media company Fused to produce a special CBC edition of Area Culture Guide that includes a brilliant augmented reality cover.
