Creative Black Country and Multistory are delighted to be welcoming photographer Rob Hornstra and writer/ filmmamker Arnold van Bruggen to the Black Country and our first project in Dudley.

Our biggest Arts Village to date took over a section of Victoria Park at last weekend’s Ola Sandwell & Birmingham Mela and we had a great time in Smethwick.

The University of Wolverhampton, in collaboration with Wolverhampton Art Gallery and Creative Black Country present Slaves of Fashion: Symposium at Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Lichfield Street, WV1 1DU on Saturday 18 August from 10am-4pm.

We went to the launch of The Singh Twins latest exhibition ‘Slaves of Fashion’ New works by The Singh Twins, on Friday 20th July to find out what people there thought of it.

The exhibition runs until the 16th September at Wolverhampton Art Gallery.

Back in November we hosted the Festival of Masters – a day-long event that showcased our 100 Masters through exhibitions, installations, talks, workshops and performances.

If you go down to the woods today… well not quite the woods but RSPB Sandwell Valley, then you are in for a BIG surprise. Last year, as part of the Imagine That! season Creative Black Country collaborated with RSPB to commission a new sculptural piece at their home.
