Creativity, Conversations and Connections at our Autumn Social
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Autumn Social at the beautiful West Bromwich Town Hall.
It was brilliant to see so many people come along for an evening of conversation, creativity and connection, bringing together people from across the Black Country to catch up, meet new faces, share ideas and find out more about what’s happening creatively across the region.
Alongside plenty of great conversations and new connections, guests also had the chance to get hands-on with two creative workshops led by Tipton-based facilitators Amelia Fox and Thea Brown.
Both Amelia and Thea have also been supporting creative workshops as part of Three 15 Tipton, so it was lovely to welcome them to the Autumn Social and give more people the opportunity to experience their work.
Amelia invited guests to get creative with ceramic pot painting and decorating, transforming their own pots with different colours and designs. Thea led a collage coaster workshop, encouraging people to experiment with images, textures and composition to create something individual to take home.
The activities provided a relaxed way for people to chat and connect while making something together, and it was great to see so many people getting involved throughout the evening.
Our socials are a chance to bring together the people who make the Black Country’s creative scene what it is, from artists and creatives to community groups, partners and organisations. They give us space to share what we’re working on, hear what others are doing and make connections that might lead somewhere new.
Thank you to everyone who spent the evening with us, to Amelia and Thea for bringing the creativity and to West Bromwich Town Hall for providing such a fantastic setting.
We’re already looking forward to the next one.
