FREELANCING 101 workshop

Invitation to Black Country Creative Freelancers - Creative Black Country’s Funding Network is hosting a free event especially for you!

CBC’s Fundraising Manager  Yvonne will be joined by consultant Amy Dalton-Hardy for a Freelancing 101 workshop.

Whether you are a new/early-career freelancer or established and looking for some inspiration, this half day session introduces a simple framework for building a sustainable freelance life: Cash, Craft, Career.

We’ll look at:

1. Cash (pricing basics, income planning, and the money habits that reduce stress)

2. Craft (how you sharpen your offer, communicate your value, and keep developing your practice)

3. Career (making intentional choices about direction, opportunities, and what success looks like for you). 

Expect honest conversation, practical tools, and time to reflect on what’s working - and what needs to shift.

You’ll leave with clearer next steps and a few quick wins you can implement immediately.
