As part of Making Our Mark, local people took part in a series of storytelling workshops led by Bostin Arts, sharing memories, experiences and reflections on what this much-loved community space means to them. Some of the stories helped shape Caldmore's first ever Storytelling Festival, a joyful celebration of creativity, community and connection. The illustrated tree artwork below was displayed as part of the event.
Visitors explored a beautiful illustrated story tree filled with photographs, memories and words gathered throughout the project.
Creative workshops invited people to share their own stories through mapping, making and decoration, while storytellers brought the gardens to life among the summer blooms.
The festival was a wonderful reminder of the power of creativity to uncover, celebrate and preserve the stories that make our communities unique.
Congratulations to the Caldmore Community Garden team for such a great event.
