Three 15 Tipton: See Tipton Through a Different Lens on Our Free Photography Walk
People living in Tipton are invited to pick up a camera or smartphone and explore the town from a fresh perspective during a free photography walk this September.
Led by local photographer Ilona, Tipton Through the Lens will take participants on a relaxed morning walk through local spaces and along Tipton’s historic canals.
The session will encourage residents to slow down and look more closely at the familiar places around them. From overlooked architectural features and natural textures to everyday scenes along the canal, participants will learn how photographs can capture the character of a place and tell stories about the people who know it best.
Ilona will share practical photography tips throughout the walk, helping participants find interesting compositions, capture hidden details and make the most of the camera they have with them.
No previous photography knowledge is required and there is no need for specialist equipment. Simply bring a camera or smartphone and a willingness to see Tipton in a new way.

Please note that the workshop involves walking outdoors, including some uneven ground and canal towpaths. Participants should wear comfortable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
