Finding Our Funny Roots - Film 03

So we've found out where the Black Country actually is. We know who the key comedians are, but what is it that makes them so funny?

Is it dialect? Is it sounding 'saft'? Or it down to the 'Black Humour' and 'Self depreciating' style?

We speak to Doctor Paul McDonald and Dr Josiane Boutonnet of the University of Wolverhampton to find out more.

This is film 03 from our Finding Our Funny Roots project to find out more about Black Country humour from 1950-2000.

Finding Our Funny Roots is a project Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and produced by Creative Black Country.
