Creative Connections: Drumming for Wellbeing and Fun with Sarah Westwood

Drumming.png

Sarah brings the joy of group drumming and sound relaxation to people across the UK. Playing drums is uplifting, stimulating for mind and body, and a wonderful way to connect with others.

Drumming for Wellbeing & Fun! brings online drumming sessions to people with Multiple Sclerosis and those who have experienced Stroke as well as families.

People can use anything as a drum, and just as in the virtual choir idea, they play along to Sarah’s traditional African rhythms with full backing tracks, to create exciting pieces of music.

Group drumming is well-known for being hugely uplifting, stimulating for mind and body and for creating a great sense of community. Online sessions are still lots of fun and creative, with the extra benefit of much easier access. And with the mute option people can play anything they like to their hearts’ content!

People have said… “This has been the best thing! I count down the days for each week as we have such a laugh too.”

“ I loved it! Thank you for your lovely clear, welcoming teaching.
