Youth Labs: Creative online workshop with Andre Reid

Youth Lab Wolves with Andre Reid Workshop.png

Curiosity Productions and Creative Black Country have been working with young people and artists in Wolverhampton to explore what ideas you have for the future of your city.

Come and have your say in our online, creative workshop. You'll have a chance to develop and discuss your ideas, and the results will be part of an event in early September.

The workshop will last no longer than two hours and will be held on Zoom.

Thursday 26th August at 7pm

To join the Zoom Meeting email isaac@curiosityproductions.co.uk

The results of the workshop will help paint a picture of the subjects that young people want to see in their city and highlight relevant issues. We’ll be hosting an event which will include a panel of various decision-makers and will offer you a chance for your questions and views to be heard and to help re-imagine the city together.

The event will take place at Newhampton Arts Centre, Dunkley Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 4AN, from 5pm until 7pm on Tuesday 7th September. There will be a presentation of findings, a panel discussion and Q&A, and some sampling of the artistic work produced throughout the project – and will be hosted by author and recording artist Kupid Val-Essoné.

If you can’t attend these events we’d be grateful if you could take the time to fill out our Youth Lab Wolves Survey.

Our work so far has taken us to community centres, youth groups and the streets of Wolverhampton, and we would love for your views to have a lasting impact in our future – so please get involved.
