The first Wellbeing in the Workplace workshop with Paycare

Creating shapes with Sarah Goudie

CBC enjoyed a lovely day with staff at Paycare in Wolverhampton delivering our Workplace Wellbeing Creative Workshops, which is a new initiative.

Giving people time away from their laptops/desks to be creative and express themselves can be so beneficial. Just an hour of creativity can help people feel more energised, relaxed and focused.

Guided by our fabulous artist Sarah Goudie, the groups started individually on a small scale and then began working collaboratively and on a bigger scale – so wonderful for team building too!

At first the participants said they couldn’t draw or be creative but after a short time were producing wonderful creations. Our participants certainly seemed to enjoy it.

“Amazing! I feel re-energised for this afternoon but really mindful and zen at the same time.”

“Everyone left in a better mood than when they arrived.”

“Loved it! Re-ignited the love of craft and making things. Very relaxing.”

 Yvonne our Fundraising Manager added:

“You could see people gradually relax and start to express themselves so they could continue their working day with an improved sense of wellbeing”

It doesn’t matter if you can draw…
