THREE 15 brings culture closer to home in Tipton, Smethwick and Wednesbury. Building on more than a decade of Creative People & Places work in the Black Country, we're making it easier than ever to access brilliant arts and cultural experiences right in your neighbourhood.
TIPTON PLACE LEAD
Creative Black Country is the place lead for Tipton. We work with our partner, Black Country Housing Group, and coordinate activity across the town. Some of the activity is open to everyone, and some activity is available for residents who live in Black Country Housing Group accommodation only.
TIPTON PROJECT LEAD
Megan Parker is the project lead for Three 15 Tipton. Megan, who is from and based in Tipton, is coordinating workshops, projects and artist opportunities with partners and local residents. You can find out more about Megan here.
TIPTON HIVE
Think of the Hives as your local cultural hubs; friendly spaces where people come together with purpose, swap ideas, and explore arts and culture in a hands-on way. Each town has its own Hive, hosted by partner organisations: Tipton Hive - Black Country Housing Group.
What happens at the Hives? We explore creative ideas for the future, mapping what's already great about your area (like parks, cultural spaces, and green areas within 15 minutes' reach), testing new activities, sharing knowledge, and building a bank of local cultural resources. Each Hive has a dedicated coordinator who'll work with local residents to plan activities that matter to you. For Black Country Housing Group the coordinator is Bobbie Wearing.
